Sports video game companies like EA Sports are always finding news way to make their games more realistic, whether it be actual gameplay or the appearance of the players in the game.
That said, when it comes to actual appearance and equipment, players are going to look different in video games than they do in real life. Garret Sparks, for example, noticed something off with the video game version of himself in NHL 19.
Also, before you read too much into the tweet, Sparks was not mad about his rating (although we are when you consider the incredible season he had and the fact that he helped the Marlies win the Calder Cup).
If he has another season like his last, though, he won't be at a 73 for long.
