Of the young Maple Leafs contingent, Auston Matthews and Mitch Marner in particular have really appeared to connect with veteran Patrick Marleau this season. That became evident when the extended Marleau family photo began making the rounds:
During Saturday’s Game 5 between the Leafs and the Boston Bruins, BarDown brought the Marleau family photo to Maple Leaf Square, and as you can see, the family only continues to grow:
After the Leafs staved off a furious late-game comeback by the Bruins to stay alive in the series and force a Game 6, you can be sure that Leafs fans were feeling the love for their team. In fact, one might even say that the fan community is comparable to a family of its own!
