The NHL released all 31 of its Reverse Retro jerseys in November and some are, well, nicer than others.
Some of Canada’s teams showed up well (we’re looking at you Flames and Sens) while a few… didn’t have their best outing. It’s safe to say there are a lot of Leaf fans out there who aren’t thrilled with the original choice, but one artist used a bit more modern look and created their own using some of the designs featured in the team’s 2018 Stadium Series game. Not much white here, but the silver looks pretty sharp.
No old school logo, but the Stadium Series inspired design doesn’t look too bad! And those shoulder patches… unreal! As for the new jersey… we have a feeling fans are going to like the one they just saw a bit more.
And may as well show the Stadium unis while we’re at it.
So now we’ve gotta ask… are you feeling the Leafs new jersey or would you have preferred something like this?
