Mike Babcock has done a lot of line shuffling this season and Leafs fans have been more vocal than normal about what they think is the right decision.
For the most part, fans seem to want to see the young guys play. With rumours swirling that the team should trade for a top-4 defenceman, many fans were clamoring to see what was available within the system before spending assets to get something outside of it. It appears as if that’s what the Leafs will do.
Kristen Shilton is always on top of the Leafs latest line up decisions and when she shared the news this morning, fans seemed thrilled.
Leaf fans and media have been thoroughly impressed with Travis Dermott and Kasperi Kapanen in their time with the Leafs and these lineups seem to reflect that they will get an opportunity to stay in the lineup moving forward.
Babcock truly believes that playing players who work hard every day helps the rest of the team, so if fans want the lines to stay like this, they better hope that everyone works hard to keep it that way.
