The first Sunday of the NFL season is officially underway and one of the game's best players is not playing.

Le'Veon Bell of the Pittsburgh Steelers has extended his holdout into the regular season and although fans probably think he's being selfish by doing so, he's sacrificing a lot in regards to money by staying home.

If Bell is serious about holding out and returning later in the season (he has until November 13th to sign his franchise deal), he could miss out on over $8 million.

At this point, it's anyone's guess as to when Bell will return, but the Steelers have to move on and they're doing so with James Conner at running back.
