Le’Veon Bell was one of the more interesting storylines heading into the NFL season. The super talented running back is coming off his infamous holdout in which he inharmonious departed from the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Now on a new team, Bell seems content with his massive new contract. It was the hope of the New York Jets that Bell would bring a dynamic element to the offence, and while that has definitely come true, it hasn’t led to much success in the standings.
Down to their third string quarterback, the Jets are now 0-3 after their loss to the New England Patriots. With the Jets possibly falling into a “butt of the joke” role, Le’Veon Bell has a pretty simple message for the haters – don’t come crying back when we’re good.
He also made sure to show his appreciation to the fans that stand by the team, through thick and thin.
Even though Bell would much rather some wins on the board, it’s nice to see him putting his passion into the game again. This time last year he was using his Twitter account for much less savory reasons.
