It’s been a whirlwind of a year for animated basketball dad LaVar Ball.
The 48-year-old wasn’t shy when comparing his son to some of the NBA's best, including Golden State Warriors superstar Steph Curry. As he gradually gained more media attention, LaVar launched the ‘Big Ballers Brand’, a basketball clothing company which also goes by ‘BBB’. His popularity seemingly reached its height after the company ridiculously overpriced its first shoe, but now it might be taken to a whole new level.
According to Pro Wrestling Sheet’s Ryan Satin, Ball and WWE are in negotiations for him to appear on June 26th’s episode of Raw from the Staples Center in Los Angeles (how fitting). Satin noted that LaVar could be heard talking about the WWE on the family’s livestream from this past Thursday’s NBA draft.
There’s no denying the loud-mouthed super-fan has what it takes to excel in the ring. The question is: what would his outfit look like? All BBB attire? Or a #2 Lonzo Jersey?
Say what you want about LaVar, but the guy has done a great job of putting his name on the map. An appearance on Raw would be a dream come true for both Ball, and the media.
