The 2017-18 season came to a disappointing end for Cole Beasley and the Dallas Cowboys when they fell short of expectations and missed playoffs. With high hopes of young talent Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott clouding up the eyes of ‘Boys fans, a on-again-off-again suspension saga involving Elliott and some hot and cold play from Prescott was the beginning of the end for the letdown season.

Beasley, who made one of the finest catches of the season, isn’t letting it get the best of him though.

The slot receiver managed to score touchdowns during two weeks of the season (four total majors) while amassing only 314 yards, but that may be because he had other things going on. On Tuesday, Beasley dropped a debut single, produced in partnership with Victor “Phazz” Clark of Phazzanation Studios, titled “80 Stings”.

Beasley may not have been your first guess when it came to most likely to drop a rap single, but he actually holds his own in the track.

In the track Beasley drops a bunch of football and Cowboys references, while also managing to name drop Jerry Jones and Prescott within about one second of each other.

“I’m bossed out. But Sunday, Jerry’s boss now when I ball out. I’m a dog when Dak get the ball out.”

Just a couple weeks ago the new rap life of former NFLer Dwayne Bowe emerged, now Cole Beasley is looking to keep the NFL-rap trend going.
