LaMonte Wade Jr. is enjoying a breakout season with the San Francisco Giants and he added to his impressive year with another home run on Saturday afternoon.
The only thing that made this home run a little different and a little more special than all his other dingers is the fact that he hit it right over his mom’s head, who was taking in the game from the outfield bleachers.
What’s even better about the whole thing is that the cameras were right there to catch Emily’s reaction and it was so wholesome and pure.
Wade hit just two home runs and 6 RBI with a .211 batting average and a .684 OPS in 42 games over two seasons with the Minnesota Twins, but this year he’s already up to 13 home runs and 30 RBI with a .258 batting average and a .907 OPS in 53 games with the Giants.
