The entire basketball world has been stunned over the news of Kobe's passing this past Sunday.

The bond between Kyrie Irving and Kobe Bryant was well-known. If you recall the iconic moment in 2016, the Cleveland Cavaliers won the NBA Finals and amidst all the celebrating in the Cav's locker room, Kyrie Irving FaceTimed his mentor Kobe Bryant, who was sitting beside his daughter Gianna at the time.

Irving left Madison Square Garden on Sunday after hearing the devastating news that Bryant was killed in a helicopter crash along with his daughter and 7 others. Shortly after, Irving was announced as sitting out of Sunday night's game.

In a post-game interview on Wednesday night, a very emotional Kyrie Irving tries to fight back tears while speaking on the loss of his idol and good friend Kobe Byant.
