‘Tis the season for heartfelt sports content. We all love it, we all crave it, so we’re going to thank Kyler Murray for helping us achieve another wholesome sports moments.

At the end of November, a young football fan named Hector Nahle was undergoing surgery for his cancer treatment when he decided to make a video shouting out the Cardinals quarterback.

Sitting within his hospital bed, the 12-year-old quarterback himself had told Kyler his situation, expressed how he’d love to meet his role model one day and that he’s his inspiration on his road to recovery.

Accounts such as NFL Mexico and the Arizona Cardinals themselves decided to weigh in to show their support as Hector underwent cancer treatment. In addition over 300,000 people had viewed his video and were able to be touched by Hector’s journey.

Even our guy Kyler.

On Thursday morning, Hector’s Instagram account shared the following video message sent to them by Kyler.

“You’re a warrior.”

“You inspire me just as much as I inspire you.”

These are just some of the comments Kyler made to the young fan before telling him he was sending him a game-worn jersey along with other gear as well as flying him out to Dallas to where the two could finally meet and toss around a football.

Our hearts are so full from the bond that these two are building.

We can’t wait to keep up with both Kyler and Hector’s story and hopefully, one day see their bond captured on video.
