The NBA All-Star Game is all about having fun, but something about this year’s showcase just felt different. Maybe it was the format (which ended up resulting in an intense race for 157 points), or maybe it was just the guys playing, but it seemed like players were actually giving their all towards the end of the game.
No player fits that shoe more than Toronto Raptors point guard Kyle Lowry.
Lowry was as scrappy as ever out there on the Chicago court, and it all culminated when he managed to draw two offensive fouls: a charge from former teammate Kawhi Leonard, and another from James Harden that saved the game momentarily for Team Giannis.
You don’t usually see anyone take a charge in the All-Star Game, let alone two in one game. As a result, the internet GOT JOKES!
Never change, Kyle!
