The Toronto Raptors won big on Wednesday, but there was a lingering somber feeling in the air. While the Raps were undoubtedly happy to snap a 9-game losing streak against the Denver Nuggets, they knew that they may be losing something else after the game.

With the trade deadline coming on Thursday, it’s possible that this was the last game in a Raptors uniform for Kyle Lowry and Norman Powell.

While there were certainly some somber moments in Kyle Lowry’s post-game press conference, there was one moment that absolutely lightened the mood. Lowry FaceTimed Drake in the middle of the media availability, in which Drake jokingly referred to himself as Kyle’s translator.

Leave it to Drake to provide the comic relief in Raptor Land.

Regardless of whether or not Lowry gets trade, he’ll always be beloved in Toronto. He discussed the upcoming trade deadline, stating that everything will be okay.
