DeMar DeRozan and Kyle Lowry have become one of the greatest backcourt duos in the NBA over the past few years, but they might be the best duo when it comes to post-game interviews.
Both DeRozan and Lowry had outstanding performances in the Toronto Raptors’ 130-119 victory over the Washington Wizards in Game 2 of their first round series, as they combined for 50 points, 16 assists and 12 rebounds, but their performances during the post-game interviews were even better.
That wasn’t even the best answer, as shortly after DeRozan dropped a Matrix reference in one of his answers and Lowry loved every second of it.
It seems like their sense of humour is rubbing off on their teammates as Jonas Valanciunas also brought his A-game to his post-game press conference.
The series has been tighter than most people expected, as the Raptors have only outscored the Wizards 244-225 in their first two meetings and they’ll look to take a 3-0 series lead when they meet for Game 3 on Friday night.
