Nikita Kucherov… take a bow!
The 27-year-old’s go-ahead goal with less than 10 seconds left to give the Lightning a 2-0 series lead and it’s safe to say that it was one of the biggest goals of his life. Kucherov received a marvelous pass from defenceman Ryan McDonagh and from the sounds of it, the two were on the same page the entire time. Apparently they made eye contact before the pass was even made, making the whole thing seem even that much more impressive.

Incredible. Make that 22 points now for Kuch in 15 games this postseason!
The fellas were fired up but no one quite as pumped as head coach Jon Cooper. It’s a good thing no one was in his way because the guy would have delivered a shot right to someone’s gut if someone was.
Everything is just working out for the Lightning right now. You don’t hear things like this happening before a goal every game!
