Before trying to keep the Warriors’ season alive in Game 6, Klay Thompson took to Instagram with a touching message to Durant, reminding fans that this team wouldn’t be where it is without KD’s impact.
It isn’t lost on anyone that we may have seen Durant’s last game in a Warriors jersey — he was expected to hit free agency this summer, although depending on his injury timetable, he might choose to opt into his $31.5 million option for next season.
