Klay Thompson playing chess with his dog is a social distancing mood

Even though they’re kind of trapped inside of it, we have to admit it: the NBA bubble looks pretty sweet.

They seem to have a pretty lavish lifestyle in there, complete with all the comforts of home and beyond.

Not the entire NBA getting to enjoy life in the bubble, though, and The Atlanta Hawks, Charlotte Hornets, Chicago Bulls, Cleveland Cavaliers, Detroit Pistons, Golden State Warriors, Minnesota Timberwolves and the New York Knicks are all still in full social distancing mode in the real world.

Klay Thompson, who spent this season sidelined with an injury, was giving off some serious social distancing vibes today, when he posted this story of him playing chess.

Thompson wasn’t playing just any opponent, though. He was playing his dog, successfully unlocking a new level of social distancing boredom we didn’t even know was possible.

A true social distancing icon.
