One of the best parts about the NHL all-star weekend is that it presents the perfect opportunity for young kids to see their favourite players all pooled together in the spotlight.
While most fans will say the game and festivities don't hold much bearing compared to the actual rigors of the 82-game season, the weekend brings smiles to the faces of the next generations of hockey supporters while creating life-long memories.
Wyatt Ross fits into this group of young hockey fans, but his all-star experience is quite different than the rest of the kids attending the events at the SAP Center in San Jose, California.
The NHL brought Ross on as a junior reporter for the weekend, and on Thursday, he got to interview some of the biggest names in the sport while asking some pretty hilarious and pointed questions that only a kid could ask.
"How long does it take you to do your hair?"
"Could you explain that look in the Sharp Magazine?"
"Is it weird to be one of the oldest guys on your team?"
"Does John Tavares still wear Maple Leaf pajamas?"
You can find out the answers to those questions and many more, as Wyatt grills Patrick Kane, Mathew Barzal, Claude Giroux and Auston Matthews with some of the best questions you'll ever hear a reporter ask a group of hockey players.
For all you aspiring hockey reporters out there takes notes on Wyatt's demeanour.
Who knows, maybe one day he'll be holding a TSN mic?
