KHL player scores clean five-hole goal from his own end of the ice

It’s knuckle puck time!

The KHL season is underway, but maybe CSKA Moscow goalie Lars Johansson is still shaking off the rust or something, because he gets beat clean five-hole by Maxim Chudinov from well beyond the far blueline.

Oh no. You hate to see it happen.

There’s some good velocity on that slapper and, to be fair, that puck does have some serious bite as it approaches the net. (Just how Russ Tyler drew it up in Mighty Ducks 2.) But, also to be fair, that’s a shot from the opposite end of the ice — no redirect, no nothing.

We’re wondering if Johansson is hanging his head as much as this guy for allowing that one.
