Honesty is the best policy and we saw the perfect example of this tried and true lesson we're all taught as kids during a recent KHL game.

After falling down off the draw while already on the man advantage, Anatoly Golyshev actually told the refs he stepped on the puck instead of what they suspected happened which was an opponent had tripped him.  There was no penalty given on the play and moments later, Golyshev was rewarded for his honesty.

Even if it's incorrect, calls on the ice are RARELY reversed.  Hats off to Golyshev for his honesty and to the hockey Gods for rewarding him with his 5th goal in 7 games to start the season.
