There are a lot of question marks surrounding the big fight of UFC 229 after Khabib Nurmagomedov vaulted the octagon cage and attacked a member of Conor McGregor’s team.
There will be a disciplinary meeting, there will likely be a fine or suspension handed down and he could Khabib could even lose his belt if he gets a lengthy suspension. For now, it appears as if Khabib does have his belt though, because he posted a photo on Instagram holding his belt and issuing a vague, probably joking but also unwise threat to Dana White’s car.
Hopefully there isn’t a major suspension handed down, because just about every UFC fan wants to see a rematch between McGregor and Khabib. If there is a major suspension, the fight won’t happen for a while and it’s clear that McGregor wants one pretty bad.
