Kevin Durant is a future Hall of Famer and enjoying the most success he's had in his career as he's a back-to-back champion and Finals MVP.

Durant and the Warriors are set to continue to reign supreme over the rest of the NBA for the foreseeable future which makes it all the most interesting that KD recently spoke to ESPN about retirement:

Kevin Durant says he can see himself walking away from the NBA at age 35.

35 is still a long time away as Durant will turn 30 in September, but it's interesting that Durant has thought about this topic enough to have an age in mind in which he could see himself walking away from the game.

Plus, compared to other sports, basketball isn't as physical a sport as hockey and football, for example, so players playing into their late 30s seems more plausible.

As the old saying goes, we'll believe it when we see it, but based on these quotes to ESPN, Durant seems more than content with his legacy and going out on his own terms.

"But I will focus on the people that love me the most, that encourage me, that pour into me and vice versa. I value what they say and how they feel about me more so than anything because that's who I really went through this journey with, those people. That's what my legacy lies in. I know they're going to view it as a perfect career no matter what."
