Despite the tumultuous playoff race between the teams in the Western Conference, the Golden State Warriors are perched comfortably in second place. Since the Warriors face no danger of falling into the third seed and given the nature of their injury riddled season, it comes as no surprise that head coach Steve Kerr is keeping practices light.

Prior to Golden State’s matchup with the Utah Jazz on Tuesday night, Kevin Durant and Klay Thompson posed a bet directed at Warriors’ assistant coach Chris DeMarco that he couldn’t dunk a basketball. Not only did DeMarco accept the bet, he made good on it.

Notice the pure joy, which was especially prevalent in Nick Young as he heaved a basketball the length of the court in celebration. DeMarco on the other hand, ran off the court and up the stairs like Rocky Balboa going up the steps of the Philadelphia Museum of Art.

DeMarco’s successful dunk would prove to be the high point of the night for the Warriors as they fell 119-79 to the Jazz.
