Wednesday night, Jose Urena was the talk of the sports world after hitting Ronald Acuna Jr. of the Braves with the first pitch of the game.

Acuna Jr. entered the game on a 5-game home run streak and had went deep in three-straight to lead off the game.  As you would expect, the incident was talked about across the baseball world that night and Keith Hernandez (legendary Cardinal and Met, now broadcaster for New York) has this to say:

On Thursday, Hernandez doubled down on his original statement after seeing all the outrage to his thoughts on the situation on social media:
Hernandez's opinion is an unpopular one to say the least, but he's sticking by it and he'll deal with the backlash from it as it comes:

For what it's worth, Urena was suspended 6 games for hitting Acuna Jr.
