Los Angeles Chargers receiver Keenan Allen has been in the news lately. After Le’Veon Bell commemorated his new contract with the New York Jets by teasing his rap single titled “Free At Last,” he got into it a minor internet scuffle with Allen, who was decidedly not a fan.
As it turns out, Keenan Allen has the qualifications to offer his musical opinion here. He shared his own cover of “Best Part” by H.E.R. and (Oshawa native!) Daniel Caesar, and it’s actually pretty good!
Not bad. We’ve seen a couple of athletes dip their toes into the music realm before, including the Pacers’ Victor Oladipo with the release of his R&B album last year.
If this is any indication of his skills on the keys, a Keenan Album R&B album would certainly get our listen too!
