The Kansas City Chiefs snapped a 50-year Super Bowl drought on Sunday when they defeated the San Francisco 49ers in comeback fashion. The thrilling 4th quarter that saw the Chiefs score 21 unanswered points to take the lead and secure the victory definitely had Kansas City feeling pretty wild, and that was on full display after the clock struck zero.

As the Chiefs took the field to receive congratulations from the Niners and give their first championship quotes, Kansas City began lighting fuses. It didn't take long for the whole city to illuminate in red, green, and golden colours as the fireworks took over the skyline.

In fact, they lit so many fireworks, the celebration was visible on a weather map.

Luckily for us, the footage wasn't limited to an overhead grid map with small flares appearing on it. Someone was considerate enough to break out a drone and capture some magical visuals.

With the parade all set to go on Wednesday, the celebrations are sure to continue in the streets of Kansas City.
