Colin Kaepernick’s long road back to the NFL took a positive step on Friday when he worked out in Atlanta. Kaep could be seen tossing accurate deep balls, along with a bunch of other workouts, and overall it seemed to be a success. Whether it will result in a job for the 32-year-old remains to be seen, but just seeing him take the field is definitely a step in the right direction.
As has become synonymous with the former San Francisco 49er, Kaepernick followed up the workout with a powerful statement, explaining that he’s ready and letting everyone know that the ball is now in the court of the owners that have overlooked him for three years.
Even without taking the field in three years, Kaepernick has become one of the most talked about people in all of football. Whether NFL teams decide to take him on or not, one thing’s for sure; this is not the last we’ve heard from Kaep.
