Last week Cristiano Ronaldo scored his 770th career goal to move past Pele on the all-time leaderboard, so Juventus held a mini celebration for the superstar ahead of Sunday’s match.
Before kick-off, Juventus chairman Andrea Agnelli presented Ronaldo with a commemorative jersey with a GOAT nameplate and the No. 770.
Ronaldo scored more than half of his goals while he was with Real Madrid, where he still holds the club record with 450 goals, and also scored 118 for Manchester United. During his time with Juve, Ronaldo has scored 95 goals and there’s still some time for him to add to that total.
Shortly after Ronaldo tallied his 770th career goal, he showed some love to Pele on Instagram with a touching post.
Is Cristiano Ronaldo the greatest goal scorer of all-time?
