Despite their differences, JuJu Smith-Schuster is still concerned about his former Pittsburgh Steelers teammate Antonio Brown.
Their small beef stemmed from a series of Tweets on Brown's account that took aim at the sophomore prior to his departure from Pittsburgh.JuJu joined Pro Football Talk Live from the Super Bowl and expressed his concern for the troubled 31-year-old. Brown was arrested last week near Hollywood, Florida and charged with battery, burglarly of an unoccupied conveyance and criminal mischief after reportedly assaulting a moving-truck driver on January 21.
Commissioner Roger Goodell had this to say about Brown’s well-being following his latest arrest:
The following is an excerpt from ESPN:
"The first thing always is to think about the well-being of Antonio, to understand what Antonio is going through," Goodell said during his state-of-the-league news conference Wednesday. "We don't talk about the wellness of our players publicly, but I can tell you that you can be sure that the NFL and NFLPA have tremendous amounts of resources available to all players. They are going to be made available to Antonio."
Brown might not find himself on a football field any time soon but he could end up fighting a YouTube star for seven figures. AB vs. Logan Paul could be coming to a screen near you…
First and foremost, let’s hope Brown can get himself together mentally before any return to sports. JuJu likely isn’t the only former teammate who's concerned.
