JuJu Smith-Schuster became a fan favourite among the Steelers faithful almost immediately because of how he handles himself on the field, but he quickly became a fan favourite throughout the NFL for the way he handles himself away from the field and on social media.

With the start of the 22-year-old’s third NFL season and his first as the Steelers’ go-to wide receiver right around the corner, the former USC Trojan made a big move on Tuesday as he surprised his father with a brand new truck.

Smith-Schuster posted a photoset of him and his father over the years with the final photo being the one of his father in his brand new truck, and he included a heartfelt caption to go with the photos.

“My big family is made up of my parents, myself, and my six siblings. Growing up, we had one car for everything we needed to do. Dropping us off to school, practice, work, groceries, whatever we needed to do, we had 1 car. My dad would walk to the bus stop and catch the bus each morning to go to work. My parents struggled so much and worked so hard to provide for my siblings and I. I’ll never be able to give them what they gave me, but I’m so thankful I can at least do something. So proud and blessed to be able to buy my dad a new truck, this man means so much more to me than I can ever put into words! 🙏🏾”

It’s always awesome to see people surprise their parents with brand new gifts after everything their parents did them for them while they were growing up and surprises like this one are the ones we’ll never get tired of seeing.
