On Monday, Jordan Staal reached a special milestone when he suited up for his 1,000th game. While the night was all about Jordan, it’s impossible to talk about any of the Staal brothers without comparing them to each other.
Eric has been around the longest. He’s played in 1,277 NHL games. Jordan, the 3rd eldest, reaching his 1,000th game actually marks the first set of brothers active in today's NHL to have each reached the special milestone.
Marc Staal, who is in between Eric and Jordan in age, isn’t far behind either. He played his 935th career game on Monday, coincidentally against Jordan on his special night.
