It's been a while since we've seen John Wall on the court, but he’s dishing helpers even off it.

On Tuesday, Wall donated 1,000 dinners to families in southeast D.C. In all, over the course of the pandemic, he has raised over $500,000 for families through his 202 Assist program.

Many athletes have taken the opportunity during the pandemic to come through for their communities, and it’s really great to see.

Wall missed the entire 2019-20 season with a ruptured Achilles tendon, and Washington Wizards fans must be looking forward to the chance to see their star backcourt of Wall and Bradley Beal back together on the court again.

However, recent trade rumours have connected Wall to the Houston Rockets with Russell Westbrook heading back to D.C., so whether or not we’ll actually get the chance to see Wall in a Wizards uniform again remains up in the air.
