Montreal Alouettes quarterback Vernon Adams Jr. was not in the lineup on Friday night due to a concussion he suffered last week, but that didn’t stop him from putting in some reps on the field.
During halftime, the 26-year-old stayed out on the field and spent some time throwing passes to fans in the stands. One fan happened to overthrow the Als’ quarterback, but luckily TSN’s John Lu was right behind him ready to go.
Unfortunately the cameras didn’t end up picking up Lu’s catch, but it looks like it was a nice one based on Adams’ reaction and tweets from people who witnessed it live.
