This year marks the 25th anniversary for the Anaheim Ducks and they've experienced quite a few makeovers during their existence. From the classic Disney Mighty Ducks logo to the golden duck foot, the team has had various logos on their uniforms since 1993.
Since it's a special year for the franchise, John Gibson decided to get a special mask designed for the upcoming season and it's a perfect mix of the past and present.
Designed by famous goalie mask artist David Gunnarsson, the mask features a massive old school Anaheim Mighty Ducks logo on the top of the mask and multiple duck foot logos on the side of it. It also includes the team's 25th anniversary logo, as well as his No. 36 around the chin area.
Gibson went 31-18-7 with four shutouts in 60 games last year and posted a 2.43 GAA and a .926 save percentage and is entering his sixth NHL season and third as the Ducks' full-time starter.
