Joel Embiid is one of the most exciting players to watch in the NBA and he’s definitely the most exciting person to follow on Twitter. The Philadelphia 76ers big man quickly made a name for himself the night he was drafted as a poorly timed screenshot of him made the rounds online, but he was quick to let everyone that he wasn’t the slightest bit upset about the selection.
With the 2018 NBA Draft taking place in New York on Thursday night Embiid was a hit on Twitter once again, only this time it was him who was taking the shots. As Michael Porter Jr. saw his draft spot fall to No. 14 overall, where he was selected by the Denver Nuggets, people were quick to compare him to Embiid due to their medical history. Well, Embiid did not like that one bit.
The comparisons continued as others started putting him in the same conversation as first overall pick Deandre Ayton, which also got a reaction from the 2018 NBA All-Star.
His tweets did not go unnoticed around the league and one player chimed in to crown him the King of Twitter.
Joel Embiid never disappoints and we hope he never changes.
