Joel Embiid has been a master of social media since he entered the league and he made one of his first missteps on Monday night after the 76ers lost to the Heat.

The team is now tied 1-1 with Miami but Embiid has yet to play a game in the series. He broke a bone in his face and although he passed the concussion test and has a mask for his injury, the team has chosen to hold him out of both Game 1 and 2 and he wasn’t happy about it. After the game he posted an Instagram story stating his frustration with this process.

Now, he has clarified those comments.

This is what many people had assumed, including those within the 76ers organization. Clearly he was just feeling helpless while watching his team take a loss.

We’re sure he’ll be back in there soon enough and getting back to trolling his opponents on Instagram.

It’s about that time!!! #Playoffs #PhantomofTheProcess
