Joe Thornton is aiming for a Stanley Cup this season, but no one really had an idea what his future held past this year. Would this stint with Toronto be a one and done deal before a return to San Jose? Would Jumbo ever wear the teal again?

The answer to that question is looking like a hard no.

The 41-year-old’s house surfaced on Twitter and it appears to be on the market… at a crisp $9.5 million.

Yup, must be nice to be a pro athlete. Just take a closer look at this palace… just insane. You can see in the first video a framed gold medal which appears to be from 2010.

Few likely saw Joe ever leaving San Jose but a return just doesn’t make sense. The Sharks are in somewhat of a rebuild and Thornton only has so many years to win that first Cup, so this officially marks the end of an era. Anyways, let this serve as a reminder of the lavish lifestyle athletes get to live. What a crib!
