Brent Burns and Joe Thornton have pretty much been inseparable since they became teammates nearly 10 years ago to the point where they started looking like twins with their incredible beards.
The duo quickly became known for their extremely long beards, but next year they’re going to look a little different…well, from each other. Late Monday night, Burns shared a photo through his Twitter account that has all Sharks fans, and most hockey fans, in shock.
We’re not sure what made Thornton decide it was time to change things up, but it was a decision that no one saw coming except for maybe Burns and himself.
Hopefully this is just a temporary thing and Jumbo Joe has the beard back to its fine form before winter rolls around.
