The NFL Combine is all about numbers. How fast can you run? How high can you jump? And of course, how big are your hands???

The latter of those questions isn’t as prominent as someone’s 40-yard dash times, but for quarterbacks, hand size can be cause for concern. At the 2020 NFL Combine, Joe Burrow had his hands measured and the results are in... He has 9 inch mitts.

For those who have no idea what that means, apparently it’s just on the edge of being too small. Small hands raise questions about being able to hold onto the football, especially when conditions are less than par.

Upon the realization that he had tiny hands, Joe Burrow went to twitter to vent.

Clearly, Burrow isn’t taking this too seriously. Jared Goff previously went number 1 overall with 9 inch hands, so clearly hand size doesn’t dissuade teams from drafting top players. It also worked out for Patrick Mahomes. His hands measured in at 9.25 inches, and he reached out to Joe to tell him that everything will be ok.
