CINCINNATI -- Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow and Bruce Wayne now have something in common.

They drive the same car. Well, kind of.

Burrow purchased one of 10 officially licensed and fully functional Batmobiles that are sold by Wayne Enterprises Experiences. The latest addition to his car collection was revealed in the premiere episode of HBO's "Hard Knocks: In Season with the AFC North" that debuted on Tuesday night.

"Have I told you I bought a Batmobile?" Burrow told wide receivers Tee Higgins and Ja'Marr Chase during a practice last week. "I don't get it for like a year, but I bought one."

Burrow is one of 10 individuals who was granted permission to purchase one of the replica vehicles. The cost: $2.99 million.

And it has just about anything an aspiring superhero or Pro Bowl quarterback could want in a vehicle: a 6.2-liter General Motors engine that produces 525 horsepower, imitation gun turrets, a smokescreen delivery system and a jet engine simulation (with no flames, however).

It is a bit different from the electric vehicles that Burrow prefers. But then again, it's only so often that a replica version of what is known as "The Tumbler" is available to purchase.

In the clip that aired Tuesday night, Burrow joked that it may require additional purchases.

"I think I gotta go all-in and go for like the expensive batsuit," Burrow said to Chase.

The Bengals were heavily featured in the first episode of the latest "Hard Knocks" installment that, for the first time, includes an entire division. Burrow and Cincinnati lost to the Pittsburgh Steelers 44-38 on Sunday to extend the Bengals' losing streak to three games.

But in the defeat, Burrow continued his best season in the league. He leads the NFL in touchdowns (30), passing yards (3,337) and is second in the league in Total QBR (73.9).
