Jimmy Butler is one of the most prominent characters in the NBA.
His undeniable talent aside, his antics have become a polarizing means of simultaneously entertaining and intriguing basketball fans, and the most recent victim of Butler’s boisterous personality is the Raptor’s Kyle Lowry, who he took a hilarious shot in his newest Instagram post. Butler jokingly accused Lowry of ‘stealing his look’ when photos surfaced of the Raptor’s star in a headband, an accessory that Butler has been rocking as of late.
This isn’t the first time that Lowry has been the butt of one of Butler’s jokes, and when he was asked about the Raptors last year when standing next to Lowry, he didn’t hesitate to call them “doo doo”. Butler also infamously called Lowry from the locker room before they played one another earlier this season, ahead of a game between the Timberwolves, who Butler was with at the time, and the Raptors, to engage in some serious trash talk.
Butler’s 76ers tip off against the Raptors tomorrow night in Toronto, which he warned Lowry about in the post, and though who wears the headband look best can be debated, the winner of tomorrow night’s game definitely cannot be.
