Last year, the Dallas Stars were at the centre of a lot of controversy when their CEO went on an infamous rant that specifically targeted Jamie Benn and Tyler Seguin for what he thought was lackluster play.
Yikes.
Now, the Stars’ big guns are back under fire - this time by their head coach. Seguin and Benn have combined for an extremely underwhelming 17 points so far this season, and today - Jim Montgomery shared his frustrations about that.
This seems a little harsh, and if you remember how the Stars picked up after the criticism they received internally last year, this could be a good thing.
Maybe this is just the fire that the Stars need to pick things up.
