Matt Harvey’s stint with the Cincinnati Reds was a short one, but he formed some friendships with members of the team during his short time with the Reds.

Now with the Kansas City Royals, Harvey was on the mound on Wednesday night as the Royals played host to the Reds. In the first inning, Harvey struck out Jesse Winker, who responded by giving his former teammate a thumbs up.

Harvey got the best of Winker in his first at-bat, but the Reds outfielder got even in his next at-bat in the third inning.

That was the last time they would see each other in the game, as Harvey was pulled after the third inning.
