Joey Votto recently took a lot of heat for his comments about Canada and Canadian baseball in general, but that doesn’t mean he’s lost all of his Canadian attributes.
David Letterman and Jerry Seinfeld, two huge superstars in comedy and some of the most well-known names in North America, were on Letterman’s Netflix show and Votto became a topic of conversation. That’s because, somehow, despite both comedians attending a large amount of baseball games, both had one interaction with a player stand out their minds.
While the interactions were on separate occasions, they both think of Votto and his Canadian attitude.
We should include that Votto has also been known to have some less polite interactions with fans, because he seems to be a big fan of trolling.
That's why it should surprise no one that he continued to troll when asked about his interations with the two comedians after the clip went viral.
