Jeremy Lin speaks out against racism and recent attacks towards Asian Americans

As a trailblazer for Asian Americans in the NBA and the sports world in general, Jeremy Lin has embraced his platform by speaking on behalf of issues relevant to the Asian American community time and time again.

Amidst a recent surge in attacks towards Asian Americans, particularly Asian American elders, Lin took to Instagram to share his perspective on the issue in an emotional post.

Included within Lin’s post is an accusation of other players of calling him “coronavirus” on the court. He doesn’t clarify if this happened in the G League, where he currently plays professionally, or in another setting.
