Carson Wentz came out flying in his sophomore season and put up super impressive numbers while he was healthy. In his 13 starts for the Philadelphia Eagles, Wentz threw 33 touchdowns to just seven interceptions and led his team to an NFC-best 11-2 record before his season came to an end due to a torn ACL in his left knee.
While the road to recovery from an ACL injury isn’t the shortest, Wentz plans on being ready for the start of next season. However, since he hasn’t seen any game action since early December some fans might be a little worried about his arm strength, but it looks like they have nothing to worry about thanks to this video from Eagles offensive tackle Jason Peters.
It's not like Wentz is just sitting back and casually tossing around the football with some friends just for fun, he’s full out launching passes across the training room while sitting on the ground with his left leg in a brace.
Through his first two NFL seasons, the 25-year-old has thrown for 7,078 yards with 49 touchdowns and 21 interceptions and has compiled 449 rushing yards and two rushing touchdowns for a career record of 18-11.
