Tonight’s game is a particularly special one for the Calgary Flames. Before they take the ice against the Minnesota Wild, they’re first sending Jarome Iginla’s No. 12 jersey to the rafters to honour their former captain.

We guess being a team’s all-time leader in goals, points, games played, etcetera, comes with some benefits. As the Flames took to the ice for their morning skate, they were joined by Jarome’s boys, Tij and Joe.

(The number 12 laid out in the arena seats!!! Are you ready?)

It looks like Jarome’s elder son, 12-year-old Tij, is already catching up to 5’9 Johnny Gaudreau there. Are we looking at a pair of future Flames?

The Flames are playing in the second half of a national TV doubleheader tonight, so their game won’t start until 10pm ET / 8:00 pm MT. However, with one of the game’s greats being commemorated, it’s undoubtedly going to be a moment to watch.

Tonight, the Calgary Flames will retire Jarome Iginla’s No. 12 jersey 👏
