Few captains in the NHL play the game with as much emotion as Jamie Benn but on Monday night, he let his emotions get the best of him in the penalty box.
We’ve seen the veteran fired up in the sin bin after fighting but this one was for something a little smaller. Benn was awarded a high-sticking infraction late in the second period and you better believe he was rattled about the call. In fact… he destroyed the penalty box cam with his stick… while looking at the camera. Take a look:

In fairness to Benn, this was a big one for the Stars. Dallas headed into last night’s contest three points back of the Predators, so emotions were high in this one. Florida did not score on the ensuing power-play, but did win the contest 5-4 in overtime.
These things happen, but see ya later to a perfectly fine camera. Made for a good highlight at least.
