James Duthie is no stranger to ending up in comical situations, especially when our network decides to put him there, but on Saturday James managed to do so all by himself.
In a situation that would only happen to ol’ Duthie, everyone’s favourite TSN personality almost accidentally asked New Jersey Devils GM Ray Shero on a date today. Duthie tweeted out an explanation, claiming that it was all his new car’s fault. Apparently his new ride was unable to tell the difference between “Shero” and his wife’s name, Cheryl.
We know that trade for Taylor Hall was great, but we never expected it to amount to this! Luckily Duthie was seemingly able to cancel the message before it sent and, more importantly, before Shero could respond.
That could have been weird...
