Even though Jamal Murray and the Denver Nuggets fell to LeBron and the Lakers last night, he captured the attention of basketball fans everywhere.
I mean, how could he not? Did you see that up and under layup?
His meteoric rise has been unforgettable for most basketball fans, but especially exciting for those cheering him on from his home country of Canada.
We knew Murray’s performance was a special one since the start of the playoffs, but we’re not sure we fully appreciated how incredible it actually was.
To put it into perspective, his 504 points is the most ever scored by a Canadian in a single playoff season.

It was amazing to see Murray dominate this season, and we can’t wait to see him continue to raise the bar and inspire a new generation of Canadians ballers.
